We have fallen. Failed. We have made promises, built goals, created relationships. We have tried to reach a high standard, to be good enough. And we have lost.
We are never satisfied with our frail, failing efforts. Our efforts will never be good enough.
But what if you could succeed, be healed, and find love in the midst of your failures? What if we were never a failure, because there was a God that didn’t criticize our feeble efforts and just wanted our love?
That’s the God we serve. Our God. The One who bandages our wounds when we fail.
How is this possible? God gave His only Son, Jesus, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.* Death is the rightful punishment for our sins, but through the gift of Jesus, we can trade eternal death and have eternal life. All we need give in return, is the thing He longs for most: our friendship. What incredible love! Jesus longs for our friendship:
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest… learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.**
That’s the Friend we want you to know.
We are human. We are not perfect. We have need of healing and friendship—and have found it.
You’re never a failure in the eyes of God. It’s never too late to find grace. This is what we’re all about. Come and find healing through our God. We can’t wait to meet you.
